Junior Age Group; Volleyball Tour
to Europe July 2009...
Players age 15 - 18 years old

Junior Tour for July 2009
This will be our first season of taking volleyball players
on the trip of a lifetime to experience Europe. While on tour
we will visit London, England; Paris, France; Geneva, Switzerland;
and Venice, and Rome, Italy. We will only form two teams to
take to Europe, one will be a 15's/16's team and the other one
a 17's/18's team. Each team will only have ten players. The rest
of the Apex teams will still compete in the USA Junior Olympic
Volleyball Champions in July 2009.
The tentative dates are July 1st - July
19th 2009. We should know by December the exact dates.
Players and parents will fill out the applications on line
in January 2009.Once our group is finalized Apex Club Director
will contact our associates in Europe to arrange some special
games (additional games) for us.
Time line.....
Tryouts for these teams will be only by invitational only.
We will then accept players onto the team on a first come
first accepted basis, and by position. We have limited number
of spaces for each team (10 players).... We can accept up
to 60 people per tour (players coaches and parents). As soon
as you know you are selected for the Apex Europe team... you
will have to make your deposits ($600) to hold your place
on the Europe team.
- Q. How much does the tour cost?
A. The 2009 tour fees are $3600.00
This includes, Round trip International Airfare from USA
gateway cities Airport transfers to and from the Hotels
Accommodations.
Daily Continental Breakfast. Train transportation between
cities. River Cruise on the Thames Chunnel Train Transportation
Paris to London.
1 day travel Pass in each City.
Optional Side Trip to Versailles
Tournament Registration Fees.
Free time for Shopping
English Speaking Sightseeing tours in London, Paris, Venice,
Rome.
24 Hour Professional Tour Escort.
Volleyball matches Uniforms, Sweats, travel bags.

- Q. How do we get around in Europe?
A. In Luxury... we travel by FAST train,
we depart Paris go under the English Channel, and 3 hours
later we arrive in London.., same with the other cities
we travel by the TGV (fast train system).
Q. Is there a try out? How good do you have to be....
Who makes the team?
A.Players need to be accomplished volleyball
players, some of the better players on their HS team, and
most play USAV Club team. We want to have all of the players
be about the same skill levels. Tryouts for these teams will
be only by invitational only. We will then accept players
onto the team on a first come first accepted basis, and by
position. We have limited number of spaces for each tour.
Q. Who do we play in Europe?
A. We play local club teams, In London we
will play in the 2 day International World Youth Games, in
the other cities we will play mini tournaments, and we will
play some BEACH volleyball as well.
Q. Are NON Players welcome? (Parents etc..)
A. We encourage the parents to share the
experience with their daughters/sons. The parent or companion
fee is the same as the player.
Q. What do I have to do to secure my place?
A. You should play for Apex Boys Volleyball
Club in our fall program. The players on the Apex
Boys Volleyball Club will be given first priorty to earn a
spot on the Europe's teams. An application will be
given to you in January 2009. Fill out the application form,
2.send in (Visa or MC, check) with the $500.00 tour deposit,
it is that simple.
Q. Does the $600.00 apply to my trip?
A.. YES... the balance owed would be $3600.00
per players.
Q. What happens to my DEPOSIT if I don't get accepted
on to the tour?
A.You will receive a FULL REFUND of your
Deposit
